CQMS Castings, acquired in August 2003 and located in Maryborough 300 Kilometres north of Brisbane, is the primary supplier of castings to the sales divisions of CQMS.

The foundry is structured for both jobbing and automated moulding and predominantly manufactures alloy steels to in-house specifications.

Whilst the production capacity of the foundry is 95% dedicated to manufacture of castings for the CQMS Group, the foundry continues to supply other clients and markets with castings through strategic alliances with off-shore foundries.

Products manufactured at Maryborough for CQMS include Dragline and Excavator Bucket Castings (lips, jaw plates, shrouds, shackles and a range of CQMS GET products.

Products sourced from off shore foundries include Cast Steel Ladles for mineral processing industries and Manganese Castings for the mining and quarry industries as well as various assorted castings.
